The Artemis
Arlington, MA
BH+A designed a 150,000sf residential complex in Arlington, MA. This project integrated a historic mill building in Arlington with new construction to create a 124-unit building with 8,000 square feet of amenity space. The development features 18,000 sf of vegetated green space in what was a highly industrialized part of the Town and takes advantage of man-made and natural features, including a historic mill brook, in a distinctive and publicly accessible way. Open spaces and corridors link to existing neighborhoods and the Arlington Bike Path, creating an ecological balance and a walkable public realm where residents can socialize with their neighbors.
Completed in Summer 2025, this project was constructed under 40B regulations and provides much needed affordable apartments in the neighborhood.
