Factory 63
Boston, MA
Factory 63 is the renovation and reuse of a historic industrial building (former shoe factory) in the Fort Point Channel area for a mix of 38 innovative residential lofts. The ground floor is the amenity level with a lobby and lounge and there is a “green” roof deck. Each apartment is designed for smart living. The units feature woodflooring, loft-style high ceilings, exposed brick and timber, high performance windows with beautiful views of the city. Kitchens are equipped with stainless steel appliances. Each residency has washer and dryer on site.
Located in the heart of Innovation District, 63 Melcher Street residences are great for living and working. The ground floor has a gallery space called the Design Innovation Gallery for the Design Museum of Boston. Factory 63 is within walking distance to amazing restaurants, Seaport attractions and MBTA.
The project is LEED Gold certified for Homes Low-Rise and received the 2014 MA USGBC Award for energy performance in a historic building.
