New Bedford, MA

Fort Taber is the central feature of the 11-acre Fort Taber National Register Historic District established in 1973. Built between 1857 and 1871, the granite-faced fort is accompanied by five Endicott-period batteries. BH+A’s scope of work at the Fort involves the development of an architectural and structural assessment including mortar analysis as well as a feasibility study for universal accessibility.
