Fino Park Pool

The Fino Pool complex is part of larger park called “Fino Field,” located at 80 Granite Street in Milford MA. The eastern edge of the park abuts Milford Pond and the Charles River. The original pool sat within a large fenced in enclosure in the middle of the park surrounded by open gathering spaces and tree covered park areas.
BH+A recently redesigned the pool to include a combination lap and recreation pool with a splash pad adjacent, and rehabilitating the existing bathhouse to provide a new entry with access control and support spaces. In order to preserve the character of the park, the pool was sited on the same location as the previous pool, with slight alterations to its shape and functionality. A splash park was constructed next to the pool for the younger users.
A new entrance pavilion, bathroom facility, and lifeguard station were designed in addition to the pool.
