Deborah Robinson has dedicated her career to the preservation, renovation and adaptive reuse of older buildings. She has led projects range in scale from conditions assessments and dormitory master plans to window replacements to complex adaptive reuse projects that involve complete replacement of systems, programmatic upgrades and building additions. She has extensive work at universities, both as in-house project manager and as a consulting architect, and has specific expertise in the renovation of student housing. She is known for her attention to detail in solving difficult issues relating to modifications to existing structures in a way that maintains or improves on the building’s character-defining features.
